The Summer Prep Collection by Total Beauty

Total Beauty.com sent out a Summer Prep Collection box this season. I had never ordered one before so I thought I would give it a try. I had really high hopes because the reviews I had seen were awesome.

When I opened the box I saw a bunch of small "free size" samples. So I was not thrilled yet.

Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40 ($2.00?): This sample was so small it did not even say the size. Also, the inside says "Can be purchased at BirchBox" then covered with a sticker saying Total Beauty.com. So, maybe they buy Birchbox's leftovers? Very weird. Anyways, I like the product a lot. But, I like having a nice size sample so I can use it a few times to decide if I would like to buy it. 

Nelson J Beverly Hulls Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask {coconut,/rosemary mint/pomegranate} ($7.50): OH MY! I am so excited for this! I think I am going to love it! The mask only needs to stay on the hair for one minute before being washed, how great! The packaging is cute, smells wonderful, what could be bad about it? I will probably buy a full size of this in either the pomegranate or coconut scent. 

Gleam by Melanie Mills ($15.00): Light Gold. The reviews I read online were really good and I am excited to try it. I have light skin so I am really glad I received the lighter color so I can actually wear it! 

Suntegrity Natural Mositurizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30 ($1.00): Again, the sample is too small. I like this product a lot but I want a larger sample to make sure it agrees with my skin. I think it will work well and the smell is nice.

Kitsch Hair Ties ($9.99): I tend to lose these a lot. I like them because they hold my hair really well and don't cause damage. I can always use more! Plus, these colors are some I would pick out myself. They have a ton of other colors as well! 

Pur~lisse Essential Daily Moisturizer ($37.18): Again, wonderful reviews! I received a sample of this in another box as well. Now, I can use both and really enjoy it! I have been needed a nice moisturizer, I hope this does the trick!

This summer collection was selling for $25.00 but with a coupon I had it made the box $21.25. My total value was $71.68. These are from prices I found online not retail. However, Total Beauty claimed it would be a $95.00 value. Maybe I will email and ask for their prices? I am curious. Maybe I am missing an item?
