Love With Food May Box Review

I received my Love With Food box yesterday! I had been debating on whether to try it out or not. Finally, I gave in. I am SO happy I did! I can't wait to share with you what I received. I really like that they wrap the entire box in a sealed plastic so no one can go snooping in the boxes on their way to my house! The cute red box is durable and easily reusable (we reuse all our boxes, so if you receive a gift from me, it will likely be in a subscription box!).

Again, I love this box, so cute!

The first look wasn't amazing, I mostly saw advertisements from other companies.

Love With Food includes a great information card. It lists and pictures each item that is included in the box, along with a description of them. I really find this helpful for two reasons. 1. For food box we receive, when we eat it, we throw the wrapper away. This card helps me to remember what we loved and need to buy! 2. Sometimes boxes are missing items (any company), and this card helps me to know IF something didn't make it into the box. 

Sweet Potato Chips by One Potato Two Potato ($.99): D ate these up before I even got a taste...... He said they were different but worth trying again. He wants to try the other flavors as well!

Sea Salt Caramels by Le Caramel ($.20): Really not a fan of caramel chews, maybe I would try the chocolate version more? I think if I liked chews these would be wonderful.

Italian Black Truffle Salt by The Spice Lab & Hickory Smoked Sea Salt by The Spice Lab : I couldn't really do a price on thess, because there was not a weight or anything. But, it was a decent sample, enough to flavor a meal. I will probably buy the regular sized product. We season all of our own foods. These would work wonderfully on several recipes. 

Honeybush Caramel, Tropical Green Tea, and Southern Mint by Revolution Tea: Again, I couldn't do a price on this. I do not like tea, neither does D. So, these will go onto someone who can appreciate them. They look like nice tea! I wish I did like it, the flavors sound amazing.

Tropical Peach Drink Mix by Flavor Organic ($1.28): I actually liked this. I never really enjoy water flavorings. The taste of artificial sweeteners are a turn off. That is the reason I do not like Crystal Light, diet sodas, etc. I prefer natural sweeteners. This was great. It did not have that awful bitter (and bad for you) after taste. I would consider buying more of these, may other flavors too.

Giddy Up & Go Granola Seriously Seedy ($1.58): Oh! I love to eat granola in a nice greek yogurt. This looks delicious! I can't wait to try it!

Tarallino Snack with Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Terre di Puglia ($1.25): I haven't tried these yet. The reviews online are good. I also like foods flavored with olive oil. I am sure I will enjoy these.

Key Lime Cookies by J & M ($2.10): SERIOUSLY. OMG. I had to save the best for last. I had a hard time restraining myself from eating these immediately before the picture (I even thought of taking a picture of the empty bag!). They look delicious, right?! I LOVE anything lime or lemon. Plus it is in a cookie with a sugar powder, umm.... YES! And..... the verdict is.... THEY ROCKED. I am getting ready to place an order online now. Plus, ordering through Amazon is almost $20.00 cheaper. Oh I love these.... 2 day shipping? I hope so! If my box was filled with these, I would have been ecstatic. 

I have a really hard time doing a break down for food boxes. In the future I may not even do it. Total value I counted was $7.20. But, I did not include 2 items in that, and shipping is free. I really enjoy this subscription, it may not be the most valuable one, but I really like it. The box introduces my family to new products plus they are always organic, which I love. Organic doesn't mean boring or bland! Love With Food did a FANTASTIC job this month!!
