Citrus Lane June Pick Your Item

*Disclosure: This post contains referral links*

Citrus Lane is offering something new this month! You can pick one of the items you want in your box. I have never heard of them doing this and I am VERY excited about it!

In my box I have 4 options, they are 4 different styled wet bags.

Option 1: Classic Mickey Wet Bag

Option 2: Mickey Icon Wet Bag

Option 3: Monsters Wet Bag

Option 4: Winnie the Pooh Wet Bag

Or you can choose "surprise me", where Citrus Lane will randomly pick for you.

I really like this option and hope they continue it. We choose the third option of the monster bag. I really do not like cartoon characters on stuff and the monster bag was less "icony" I suppose.

Our family really enjoys Citrus Lane. If you go through my link here, you can get your first box for 50% off. You could sign up for the monthly subscription to just give it a try. I HIGHLY recommend it.

What option did you choose this month? Do you like the option of choosing your main item?

Citrus Lane Mystery Boxes Available

*Disclosure: This post contains affiliate/referral links*

Citrus Lane is offering mystery boxes again. I have ordered several of the mystery boxes the last few times. But, there were many items that were the same in each of boxes available. The past time they were almost all identical! I found that to be very frustrating. This time Citrus Lane has promised there will be NO overlaps in any of the mystery boxes! The items in the boxes will likely include items from previous subscription boxes. The mystery boxes are $29.00 each. They will include at least $60.00 of value per box.

Mystery Box- Mom Treat ($29.00): This box is all for mommy! It will include the Stella & Dot bracelet shown. All items will be something special for Mama. I ordered this and can't wait to get it!

Mystery Box- Baby Car ($29.00): The age range for this box is 0-12 months. It includes the Plan Toys Baby Car. I ordered this and will put away toys for later hopefully or gifts.

Mystery Box- Ivy & Bean Paper Dolls ($29.00): Geared for ages 2+ years old. This will include the paper dolls and other items for a toddler. I grabbed this box as well.

Mystery Box- Lace & Trace Farm ($29.00): Again aged for 2+ years old. I really liked this main item. I thought it as adorable and really work well with getting little hands to make tiny precise moves. I also purchased one of these boxes.

Mystery Box- Zebra Plate & Bowl ($29.00): I believe this will be the same box as the Skip Hops Mystery Boxes available a few weeks ago. I did not buy this because we received it in the previous mystery box order.

If you want to order these you can also enter the code "mommy20" for 20% off, you know I did!

Our family really enjoys Citrus Lane. If you go through my link here, you can get your first box for 50% off. You could sign up for the monthly subscription to just give it a try. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Citrus Lane Mystery Box Boon Water Bugs & Boon Dive Appliques

*Disclosure: This post contains affiliate/referral links*

Yesterday I received our Citrus Lane Mystery Boxes. I ordered both boxes that were offered this last time. One box was the Boon Water Bugs Mystery Box and the other was the Boon Dive Appliques box. I combined the review into one post because the items were similar or the same. I will post which product came in which box.

Citrus Lane sent both mystery boxes in one large box.

This is the Boon Water Bugs Mystery Box.

This is the Boon Dive Applique Mystery Box.

Boon Water Bugs with Net ($7.99): I JUST ordered this and it arrived at my door 2 days ago. J has already played with it! He got into this one too and put it with all his bath time toys ;) Having 2 nets is TWICE the fun! I really like how they are hard solid pieces and won't hold water and get moldy.

Boon Dive Appliques ($7.07): These things are neat! J thought they were awesome that they float in the water and he can catch them with his net (from above). When I showed him that they stick to the wall/tub, he was in Heaven! I love the price and they are a really cool toy!

Green Sprouts Bottle Aqua ($9.99): This is a cute bottle that we will use. I like that it has the ounces on the side, could come in handy with a smaller child. I received one of these in each box.

Hohner Kids Tambourine ($8.99): I really liked this brand. I know this music toy will last a LONG time! It is pretty loud, but not too obnoxious. J will enjoy this toy on a rainy day!! I received one of these in each box.

Alex Dot to Dot Chalk ($5.99): OMG! How cute are these?!?! I can't wait to use them! They will be perfect for Grandma's house she has a nice dark paved driveway with plenty of room to create! I received one of these in each box. In one box they were opened and broken, I am waiting to hear back from Citrus Lane about that. I will update when I hear back.

Zo*Li Sumo Snack Stack ($14.50): Uhhhh... who knew these existed and didn't tell me?! How wonderful is this! Perfect for snacks for J or D to keep them separate! I am in love with this concept. I received one of these in each box. (I am glad to have received 2).

Melissa & Doug Create-A-Craft Wooden Race Car ($6.39): Wow, I a really surprised at how affordable this cute craft is. J had a ball with it and could easily do it himself (minus gluing the tires on the rod). Very minimal parental guidance needed on this one. I will be ordering a few of these to have on hand for presents for friends! This came in the Boon Water Bugs Box.

J concentrating so hard!

Melissa & Dough Create-A-Craft Princess Doll ($6.21): This would be so fun to do with a little girl! I have put this away to hopefully use in the future. It looks like a nice craft. It is by Melissa & Dough, I love all of their stuff! Again, this box is a nice wooden box that can be reused for anything. This came in the Boon Dive Appliques Box.

Green Toys Build-A-Burger ($6.85): Online it is only available to purchase the Sandwich Shop set (includes burger and sandwich). I would totally buy both. They have raised knobs in the middle of each and holes in the bottoms so they stack together really well. They don't fall apart easily, so J has been very happy playing with them! He always asks do you want "mato" on that ma'am? Haha, cracks me up! I received one of these in each box.

Barefoot Books Driving My Tractor Puzzle ($13.49): This is 2 puzzles in one. The first puzzle is 24 pieces, the other is 12 pieces. There is the scene below then another scene in the snow. We love our tractor stuff! These are a good age for J and he will enjoy them. I received one of these in each box.

So, to recap here is what I received in each box:

Boon Water Bugs Box
Paid:$39.00/ Value: $74.19
Boon Dive Appliques Box
Paid:$39.00/ Value: $73.09
So, the value of the Boon water Bugs Mystery Box was $74.19. The value of the Boon Dive Appliques Box was $73.09. These are values off Amazon, not retail. The retail prices would have been even more! I think I received an amazing deal on the boxes. I paid $39.00 for each mystery box. The previous mystery boxes (Elephant Skip Hop & Zebra Skip Hop) were not amazing. They had quite a few items that were identical. This mystery box had even more repeat items. Citrus Lane did not state there would not be repeats. But, when choosing two different boxes I expected two different boxes. Had I only ordered one mystery box I would be extremely happy. Next time that is what I will do. I think the mystery boxes are an amazing deal for the price.

Citrus Lane May Box Review

*Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links*

Citrus Lane: A monthly subscription box that contains 4 or more products for your child specific to their age and stage. This is one of our favorite child's subscription boxes!
Price: $29.00 monthly

This is the 42-month old boy box. I order this box at J's actual age. I may increase it to ensure he is getting items that he can use for awhile.

I had not seen any spoiler this month and it appears my box came earlier than most. So, everything was a big surprise!

At first peek it was packed, which I LOVE! I think the yellow tissue paper with the branded sticker really add a nice touch to the box. After digging through, there were a ton of papers and ads, nothing that really fit the child subscription box though. Maybe for future ads they will be somewhat relevant?

Crocodile Creek Rockets Kid Time Watch ($15.99): As soon as J saw this he wanted it. I couldn't take a picture and get it out of the packaging quick enough! He was smiling so big and jumping around, seriously, that made the box for us! It is a super cute watch and will fit for a long time. I had to put it on the smallest notch available, so it could be too big for some kids who receive the box. But, J doesn't mind!

Goodbyn Hero- Green ($21.95): This set is really cute. It includes two dipping containers can be used with the set or separately. J isn't in school or anything so maybe we will hold onto it? Or take a picnic to a park so he can use it? I like that it is BPA free too!

Faber-Castell 12 Duo Tip Washable Markers (24 colors) ($8.89): I was surprised to see this brand. Generally this brand is a higher end brand. The markers work so well, they are super smooth and easy to clean off of surfaces. J LOVES arts and crafts, he will use these today!

Jasmine Seven Fresh Feet Wipes for Kids ($6.76): These smell wonderful! It is a great idea, especially for how dirty a 3 year old boys feet can get! I will probably pack these in the to go bag for the summer!

I paid $29.00 for the Citrus Lane box. The total value I received is $53.59. I was missing a snack that was supposed to be included. This value is from the lowest prices I could find online not retail prices. If I included retails prices that would be even MORE!

Citrus Lane Mystery Box- Elephant Skip Hop Review

*Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links*

Citrus Lane: A monthly subscription box that contains 4 or more products for your child specific to their age and stage.
Price: $29 monthly
Mystery Box: $29 each

In addition to my Citrus Lane Skip Hop Zebra Mystery Box (review here), I also received the elephant one! I wanted to grab the rhino too, but I wasn't QUITE quick enough!  Again, this box was recommended for 12 months+, so I knew there was a high chance the products would be too young for J. However, they could make great gifts or be held onto for later on.

Citrus Lane always uses the same cute box. I like the natural look of it with the simplicity of the yellow. Also, it says on the back it is Made With The Sun, manufactured using 90% solar power. So, I am getting cute products plus helping the environment? YES PLEASE!

I LOVE opening a full box! The first look was great, plenty of products.

Melissa & Doug Rainbow Stacker ($8.09): My family really likes Melissa & Doug toys. They are tough toys that will last through many children! This will likely go in the "gift-it" pile as we received the same one in the Zebra box

Green Tones Handle Cage Bell ($11.34): In the Zebra box, we received the Green Tones Triangle Castanet toy. J loved that toy, and loved this one as well. They are very well made. I REALLY like that they are not extremely loud ;) Just loud enough to entertain!

Annie's Homegrown Organic Cheddar Bunnies ($1.00): More bunnies! This came in the Zebra box, as well. J likes them and they will get eaten.

Skip-Hop Elephant Plate/Bowl Set ($10.00): Super cute set. The elephant is adorable. We also have the zebras and a lunch box!

Eco-Kids Modeling Dough ($3.63): This same dough, even color, came in our Zebra box. Maybe they ONLY are sending green? I'm not sure. But, J will use it! ee love

Cleo's Color Book ($6.29): Really cute, simple book. J may sit through one reading but it is really meant for a very young child.

Pearhead Handprint Wall Art ($10.00): I could not find this exact set anywhere. I found some similar and would say it is valued at about $10.00. We received the same on in our Zebra Box. Again, we will use it, but probably not for handprints as suggested.

Barefoot Books Bear on the Go First Puzzle ($12.95): Super cute puzzles. It contains 4 puzzles, 4 pieces each. We received this exact puzzle in the Zebra box. I wish they would have sent something else. But, we will send it to a grandparent's house, it will be good as an extra toy there. Something about toys at grandparent's houses are more fun anyways!

I paid $29.00 for the mystery box. The total value of the box is $63.30. Again, I did not include retail prices but the lowest price I could find online. If I had included retail price it would have a way higher value. Which is an AWESOME value.

I really wish there were not SO many repeats in the boxes. I am glad I did not get the rhino box because it would mean even more repeats. There were 5 of the same items out of the 8 items. The other 3 were similar just a different style. Citrus Lane did not say there would not be any overlaps in boxes, but I wish they had. I will give the next mystery box a try and hope for a better turn out!

Citrus Lane Mystery Box- Zebra Skip Hop Review

*Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links*

Citrus Lane: A monthly subscription box that contains 4 or more products for your child specific to their age and stage.
Price: $29 monthly
Mystery Box: $29 each

I LOVE Citrus Lane. I LOVE a mystery box! So, combining those two, I was sold immediately! This time around they offered 3 mystery boxes, recommended ages 12 months+. To choose between the options you were able to pick out of 3 available plate/bowl combo. These were a zebra, elephant, or rhino. I opted for the zebra and elephant ones. I will review the elephant in another post to make sure the post isn't too long.

When I saw my package, I thought it was a lot bigger than normal (see picture below). I thought maybe they had a larger toy and needed more space. It was really heavy too! When I opened it, I realized they put both of my mystery boxes into one big box (duh...)!

The first glance in the box was promising! Plenty of colors!! I couldn't wait to dig in.

Green Tones Castanet ($11.99): This is a well made toy, that I am sure will last a long time. It doesn't make a super loud noise, which makes me happy, but noisy enough to entertain ;). J loved this and wanted it immediately!

Melissa & Doug Rainbow Stacker ($8.09): I am going to put this away for hopefully another time. This is a bit too young for J. But, the box was for 12 months+ so I am okay with it. I love Melissa and Doug, their toys will stand the test of time.

Clare Beaton's Bedtime Rhymes ($6.29): Again, a bit young for J, but a cute book. The pictures are adorable, and will be perfect for a smaller child with a shorter attention span.

Pearhead Handprint Wall Art ($10.00): I could not find this exact set anywhere. I found some similar and would say it is valued at about $10.00. I think it is cute. It is a nice canvas and comes with two sets of paint. I doubt we will actually do hand prints. I will just let J go crazy and paint away and hang it up :) Unstructured painting is SO much more fun!

Annie's Homegrown Organic Cheddar Bunnies ($1.00): These bunnies are awesome. I prefer not getting food in our boxes, but these were gone in minutes. They have a wonderful real cheddar taste versus other similar snacks. Plus, they are organic. Love this brand.

Barefoot Books Bear on the Go First Puzzle ($12.95): Super cute puzzles. It contains 4 puzzles, 4 pieces each. A little young for J but the fact they are all thrown in together and he has to sort through to figure out which pieces fit which puzzle will help add difficulty. The pieces are extremely thick, I couldn't even bend them, so I know this will last a long time. However, the box I am not too sure about. I may need to switch it into another container at some point!

Eco-Kids Modeling Dough ($3.63): This dough is contains no chemical, dyes, or metals. It is a great, safe alternative for kids. Plus, I hear it lasts a REALLY long time. It is a dark green. They offer more colors, which we may try!

Skip-Hop Zebra Plate/Bowl Set ($10.00): We have a Skip-Hop lunch box as well! These are face-pinching cute! Plus, it encourages J to eat his food to see the faces ;)

I paid $29.00 for the box. The total value I got was $63.95. I did not include the retail value, just the lowest price I could find online. Retail value would be way more! So I think this was an AMAZING value. On lowest available price, I more than doubled what I paid for the box. Some of the items were a little young for J, but I am sure we will get use out of them in the future!

Citrus Lane is doing another mystery box series, this time aged for 2 years of age+! These will probably include more items J could use. Hurry! They will sell out quick! The options this time are "Boons Water Bugs" or "Dive Appliques". I ordered both and will have the reviews up as soon as I get my hands on them!! Did you get any of the Skip-Hop mystery boxes? Are you ordering the new bath ones?
