Sunday Staples

Our week has been a more laid back week (which I am NOT complaining about). We have been hanging out and falling in love with new products.

I ordered D the Ninja Ultima Kitchen System this past week. The expected delivery date was for 3 weeks..... I can't keep a surprise that long! Well, I received a tracking code and it will be here TOMORROW!!! Woo hoo!! We have used the older versions of the Ninja and love it. Normally we just make our smoothies in a cheap $8 Black Friday bullet type blender we bought 3 years ago. I have watched a bunch of Youtube videos and this thing is a machine! I will do a review on it once we have used it for a bit.

I was lucky enough to get a signed copy of The Honest Life by Jessica Alba in my Honest Company Mother's Day Gift Box. I like her as an actress but never thought anymore of it. After reading this book, I love her. Seriously, what she does for her family to keep them as healthy and organic as possible is amazing. For anyone who wants to try going organic or just wants to get more information about it, read this book, honestly. She really breaks it down and tells you what chemicals are bad for you and why. Also, she goes into what foods/products to buy organic or local or it really doesn't matter. I am buying another copy of this to keep in my purse for my go to guide. Our family tries to buy about 90% of everything organic or locally grown with no pesticides or herbicides. This book has helped me to understand what things won't hurt to bend on.

J of course is still into baseball, all the time. We recently picked him up a Tee, it is super tiring throwing a baseball ALL DAY LONG. I really like this thing, it is one that would be used on a T-ball team and is getting J adjusted to it. I highly recommed buying this tee here, if your kids are into T-ball, it was a really good purchase for us!!

How was your week? Any new products you're in love with?!

Sunday Staples

This week we have been into some new things. We are all obsessing over quite a few items/things!

D is really into homemade kale chips. He just rinses the organic kale then drizzles extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. Then he pops them in the oven until crispy (maybe 15 minutes on a low heat). They resemble a potato chip taste/crunch and are pretty good for you.

J has been talking non stop about Busch Gardens this week. My dad and stepmom took him and my nephew to the amusement park. He loved seeing the horses and riding all the rides! 2 and under are free into the park. Busch Gardens Williamsburg offered a special preschool pass 3-6 were free all summer if you grabbed the offer online (it was a limited deal). Luckily, I grabbed one for J!

The construction orange.....whew that's rough
D and I are so sad that Ink Masters is over! Congrats to Scott on winning, but I was pulling for Sausage though!

My Kate Spade Assembly Crossbody Bag came this week and I am in LOVE! It is so cute! Not too big, not too little. Plus, it fits perfect. It doesn't hurt my back or shoulder and I don't have to worry about sitting it down places. It was on clearance for $66.50 and I had a 15% off coupon making it $56.52. I also grabbed the Canvas Pocket Wallet that was on sale for $31.50. With my 15% off coupon it made the cost $26.77. My combined total was $83.29. I had another coupon for $25 off $75+ from my May Birch Box which made my final grand total $58.29! I snagged a Kate Spade purse and wallet for under $60.00. Total steal!

What has your family been into this week? Anything new!?

Each Sunday I will post about what we are diggin' this week! Whether it be TV shows, food, or what not!

D has totally been into the Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Kind Bars recently. He LOVES them. In fact, I ordered him 24 of them and they came on Saturday. He had been eye balling the tracking number. We buy them through Amazon because it is way cheaper than anywhere I have seen.

J has taken a liking to the GoGo Squeez Applesauce. That is the cheapest I have found. I was paying WAY more in store! J eats both the regular and cinnamon. These are a pretty good snack for him or a side item with lunch!

I have been craving this Kate Spade Saturday Assembly Crossbody Bag! I think I may order it. Something about the bag keeps calling my name. The nice navy blue, the way it will work with SO many outfits, all of it. Oh, Kate Spade, how I love thee!
What have your staples been this week? Anything on your mind?
